I have finally been able to turn my attention to my soap making. It was very sadly neglected over the summer. The garden really kept me busy as I have posted. But the last 6 weeks has been devoted to getting Happy Goats stocked with some new shapes and scents. There have been soaps curing on every flat surface and it has smelled really nice around here. I have also been welcomed into the CYA - Clean up Your Act Street Team. They are a very knowledgeable group of soapers; and very warm and friendly. They have a very interesting blog full of lots of soap information. And links to the other members. My soap is very specialized - goat's milk - but there are other sellers with so many different kinds of soap, it is amazing!
Some of the new shapes I have available are dogs, penguins and pinecones. There are surely shapes to keep anyone you know happy as these join the sea urchins, zen rocks, horses, goats and the ever popular Cats Got Your Goat Soap . I have also made some weighter massage bars that really look cool. And not to be forgotten the standard bar of soap. Scents are myriad; grapefruit,bergamont,tart lemon,citrus explosion,lemongrass rosemary,frankinscense,lavender and many more with more to come.
To celebrate the restocking of Happy Goats I am going to have a little contest here on the blog. The winner will receive a bar of the soap of their choice! Here are the rules!

3. Enter by November 21st 5pm MST, which is 7pm EST.
4. One entry per person.
5. Winner will be chosen by Random.org

Anyone entering the contest or reading this post can also take 10% any purchase at Happy Goats Soap for the duration of the contest. Just put "Get Happy" in the notes to seller and wait for an updated invoice or pay and I will issue a refund.

Great new shapes! I am partial to the Peace Zen Rock in Lemongrass Rosemary or Chocolate Poundcake. It just seems like it would be wonderful to hold it in your hands as you lather up with delicious scents.

I like the cat shape, but for scent would have to go with the penguin with lavender.
I really love the shape of the "Rich Goats Milk Shaving Soap - Treat Yourself to a Fancy Bar - scented with Apples Lavender and Oak". The scent of these also sounds wonderful as it combines two of my favorite scents, Apples and Lavender.
Being a cot lover I would have to say that the cat is my favorite shape and I like the Citrus Explosion scent.
